What are your 5 best first date tips?

I’m going on a first date with a guy tomorrow night, he’s shy so I had to do all of the initiating but he seems keen enough. What are your best tips?

No particular order

1) Plan ahead. Think up at least a few topics that he/she might be interested in, in case the conversation runs out. Shy guys are prone to do that because they over think.
2) Give him attention. Nothing’s worse than going on a date and noticing that the other person could care less about you, in other words, minimal cell phones.
3) Go somewhere fun, not like a bar, but maybe bowling or something. It gives you something to do so there’s not so much pressure on either of you.
4) Kinda obvious, but dress above average. You don’t want to go casual, but you don’t want super fancy either. It’ll show that the date means something to you.
5) Be yourself. Cliche I know, but this is key. The point of a date is to get to know the other person. What’s the point if you’re just tricking the other person by pretending to be what you think they want?

First Date at the Movies / Dating Tips?

I’ve liked this shy guy for a few months, and I finally asked him if he would like to go to a movie. I know a movie isn’t the best idea for a first date, but we both like movies. I want to know how we can still have a conversation, and go to a movie. I don’t won’t to go to dinner, I personally think thats too much on the first date. Any ideas, this is only my second date with any guy ever, so dating tips would be appreciated also.

I would recommend you go somewhere after the date either to get ice cream or bowling or something. The first date is really where you get to know the person, and you can’t really do that in a dark, surround sound room.

hi, me and my girlfriend want to do something tomorrow before she goes on vacation for a week. what are some good dating ideas that would work during this time of year (i live in wisconsin) besides seeing a movie because that is usually what we do for dates?

go bowling or something like that its kinda stupid but its fun once you get there
